Good music was one of our must-haves for our wedding and Sound of Harmony delivered! Shane was very responsive to our emails and accommodated all the changes we made throughout the months leading up to our wedding. We had DJ Ross and Chris as our MC and they were awesome! Chris was hilarious and so easy to get along with. Our guests loved all the games! Ross played major bangers all night, and our guests had such a fun time! I’d 100% recommend them!

Were do I even begin?! DJ Shane and DJ Dan put on an amazing compilation of music for our wedding. I don’t think I left the dance floor all night. Our guests were raving about how much fun our wedding was. Shane MCd our wedding as well and he had an awesome presence and added some personal details to everyone’s introductions. On top of all of that, he provided our guests with light up foam sticks which everyone LOVED. Amazing service from start to finish. Thank you for making our wedding an absolute blast, I will never forget it!

Shane was absolutely great to meet. Every meeting and communication leading up to our wedding gave us such a good feeling of how great our wedding would be. We had Ross as our DJ, as we wanted someone more fluid with country music. He did not disappoint. It was exactly the party we were hoping for!

Shane was beyond amazing. We have had nothing but positive compliments from our wedding guests and we were beyond happy with his work. We met with him before our wedding to discuss what we wanted and he went above and beyond. We used Sound of Harmony for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and the music choice and quality was everything we envisioned. Our dance floor was packed all evening! He interacted with our guests and was a great sport with allowing them "one more song" 15 minutes after announcing the "last song of the evening" and all of the ballroom lights had been turned on. We also chose to use up-lighting and were so pleased with that decision. Shane set them up perfectly and it transformed our room. We cannot thank Shane enough for helping make our wedding so memorable. 5/5 recommendation.

Shane did an amazing job handling the DJ and MC duties at our outdoor wedding. He was able to play any song requested and kept everyone out on the dance floor from the end of dinner until close even in a record-breaking heat. The games he incorporated throughout the evening were a big hit with our guests. Unbelievable job, we would 10/10 recommend for weddings and all events.

Shane is an absolute GOD, he listened to everything we wanted for our wedding, emailed back quickly and was an absolute professional and great guy. He had everyone from a 7 yr old up to 90 yr old on the dancefloor ALL NIGHT. Hands down best in the business, easiest guy to work with AND funny too. Shane from Sound of Harmony was absolutely fantastic from day one. It was very early on in our wedding planning process that we decided to book with Shane. I remember calling several DJs one evening to inquire about prices. I called quite late, and was not expecting my calls to be returned until the next day. Shane was the only DJ who called me back at 9:00pm, which showed his commitment and loyalty. My husband and I met him at Starbucks and were certain within the first 5 minutes that we would sign with Shane to be our DJ for our wedding! Shane was extremely friendly, and asked us several questions to determine what we wanted out of the night, and provided us with various options as to what he was able to offer us within our budget. We had our own MC, so Shane was willing to provide us with several coloured lights, in replacement of the MC in his package. We told him at our first meeting that we wanted a good party, and wanted to make sure that everyone was dancing and having fun all night. Our colour was blue, so Shane brought several blue and white lights and placed them around the room to make it look breathtaking! He played classic/jazz music during the cocktail hour, and dinner to provide nice background music. He had a few games which were super fun, and was sure to communicate with us, and my father (the MC) throughout the night. After dinner, he did an awesome job at reading the crowed, and selecting music that would please almost everyone at our wedding. The dance floor was full all night until 1:00am, and we received nothing but amazing feedback from our guests. Everyone had a blast! We would highly recommend Shane to be a DJ at any event! It is so important that you have great vendors at your wedding so that there is one less thing that you need to think about that day. Shane made an effort to go out of his way throughout the night and chat with us, our wedding party, and our families to ensure that everyone was comfortable and happy all night!

Your creativity, open-mindedness and understanding with our demands proved how committed you were to making our day extra special. Last minute we decided to have a dj service for our small wedding to keep the night alive and thats exactly what Shane did! We are so happy we decided to get sound of harmony at our wedding! Everyone thought he was a great dj and mc and we loved that as the night went on we were able to change plans for example instead of a select amount of speeches we opened the floor to anyone and Shane accommodated the schedule to work with our wants without any complaints! He also did something so special for us which we had planned prior to the wedding which was announcing our 3rd pregnancy to our friends and family and he did such a great job at that and followed our exact instructions! We now recommend the sound of harmony to all of our friends and family who may be interested in a dj event.

We were so lucky to have Shane and Ross as DJ & MC on our wedding day (oct.7 this year). These two were absolutely amazing! To start with, Shane was always prompt to our email replies, he’s always able to accommodate our meeting requests. We’ve received many possible feedback from our guests regarding the music. As a person, these two are also very genuine, very easy going, and very passionate/talented about what they do — It was a true pleasure having them on our special day!

Shane and Luc were absolutely amazing! They did a fantastic job with making sure everyone was enjoying the night. Shane was a wonderful MC for our wedding, who made sure everything ran so smooth, and even came up to us during the reception to make sure we were happy with everything. We are still getting compliments on how fun our wedding was. The entire process with dealing with Shane was great and he would get back to us right away which was much appreciated!! Shane DJ'd my wedding this past Friday and CRUSHED IT! IT WAS LIT!If you are looking for a DJ look no further, you will be in great hands with Shane. Sound of Harmony was a very professional, accommodating vendor to work with. We had a meeting with Shane, and followed up with many emails over the months and days leading up to the wedding, with lots of last-minute changes that were implemented seamlessly. The DJ's were very friendly and made for a welcoming, enjoyable reception. They adjusted the music selection to fit the mood (i.e., playing oldies music for the older family members when the younger crowd was outside taking photos), and had mics on hand for some impromptu karaoke numbers. The wedding games were great as well - funny and memorable for sure! We would definitely recommend Sound of Harmony!

It was a real pleasure working with Shane from Sound of Harmony. As we are not from the area, and everything had to be done long distance, I was nervous about hiring a DJ sight unseen. But Shane made everything easy and truly comfortable. He was always responsive to our emails and calls (which is incredibly important when you're doing things long distance). The night of the wedding, he was a one-man show, introducing the MCs and various parts of the evening, getting the crowd up and dancing, and generally creating a fun and exciting atmosphere. He never complained about the endless requests and was amenable to everything. You could see he wanted the evening to be a great success, and it really was. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shane: he was friendly, professional, fun and knows how to party!

I can’t even begin to thank Shane, Ross, and of course Steve ! Shane had everything very organized and kept me calm knowing we were in good hands. He was available whenever we needed and had great ideas. Ross has the music going perfect and made sure everyone was dancing ! From the very beginning, we had an amazing time working with Shane from Sound of Harmony. He truly wanted our wedding reception to be the best night of our lives - and it was. Our meetings prior to our wedding day were key in helping the night run smoothly, and Shane never hesitated to meet with us.Shane and Ross played big roles in keeping the reception party going. Not only was their music fantastic all night, they were also super friendly and professional. Super personable guys, with great ideas. They helped us with some technical difficulty and kept our night moving smoothly. They also personalized our playlist, on the go, after learning about some of our favourite music in the night’s speeches. They made great on-the-fly decisions based on the night’s events (playoff game!) and tailored their MC’ing to that as well. We could not have asked for a better night. Guests raved about the music selections, it was a non-stop party! I would not hesitate to recommend Sound of Harmony to anyone that was looking for a great party, and even better DJs :)

Part of what makes a great wedding is the service providers. We made the best decision when we selected Sound of Harmony as our DJ and MC service. Shane was a pro from the get go. From our first meeting all the way to the day of the wedding and after, he helped us with planning planning the sounds of the day. Our guests were thrilled and we had a hopping dance floor! Some guests thought Shane was a close personal friend because his MC skills were just that good! If you want a great DJ and MC, we highly recommend this dynamic duo!
